The South China Morning Post Book Club aims to provide an opportunity to our book-loving-readers to meet their favourite authors. We have invited some best-selling authors to share their views with us, such as Tony Parsons (Man and Boy, One for My Baby, Man and Wife, The Family Way), Adam Williams (The Palace of Heavenly Pleasure), Kavita Daswani (For Matrimonial Purposes, Everything Happens for a Reason), and Sun Shuyun (Ten Thousand Miles Without a Cloud). We were also involved in the Hong Kong Literary Festival last year and organised a seminar with Maxine Hong Kingston (The Woman Warrior, The Fifth Book of Peace) and Gish Jen (Mona in the Promised Land, Who's Irish?: Stories).
